The IMDb started as a hobby project by an international group of movie fans, essentially something by movie fans for movie fans. Now it is a huge collection of movie information. IMDb tries to catalog every pertinent detail about a movie, from who was in it, to who made it, to trivia about it, to filming locations and even where you can find reviews and fan sites on the web. Their energy is focused on creating a database that is easy to search and use.

IMDb worked with IdentityMine, Inc. to produce a mobile application for the Windows Phone 7 platform that is easy to search, sort, and engage with. IdentityMine applied the content to the WP7 Metro style
