I have to admit it - I am still ridiculously fascinated by the Microsoft® PixelSense™ table.  Have you seen it yet?  PixelSense technology enables the Samsung SUR40 to recognize fingers, hands and objects placed on the screen, enabling vision-based interaction without the use of external cameras. The individual pixels in the display see what's touching the screen and that information is immediately processed and interpreted.

Want a more technical explanation of how it works?  The shorthand version is that PixelSense is a device built on a technology built full of sensors layered with new internal camera technology that is spread out across of the top of an LCD.  In order to display and interact with content, the table sends infrared light up through layers of the LCD itself and then bounces that light off of the object on top of the screen and bounces it back down.  The cameras capture that information and send that information to the software which interprets it and displays the programmed information.

So how does this amazing table fit into the IdentityMine® world?  Well we are premier interactive experience software developers that make super-cool (and functional) applications for the PixelSense.  Want to learn more about what we’ve created for the PixelsSense?  It makes for some entertaining gaming but we have made it a lot more than just an entertainment devices for companies.  Give us a holler (or email) and we’d be more than happy to show you!
