Our newest Surface 2 Product Selector application features an updated Metro style user interface as well as image detection and image titling. The most compelling feature of the application is the MS-Tag integration; customers scan the tag using a mobile application and send the scan code to the store’s server. All of the customers Shopping List information is stored on the Surface 2 unit and can be edited any time by the customer, on their phone or the Surface 2 unit.
Imagine a shopping experience in which customers locate and select products on touch controls at an interactive station, download product information on their mobile device, locate items in-store, and then use their mobile device to check out.
The Product Selector application is part of IdentityMine’s 4-Screen Retail Solution which utilizes:
a) Mobile application for the customer
b) Tablet (touch/gesture) application for the sales associate
c) Digital Signage to interact and project detailed product information to increase engagement in sales by associate and customer
d) A Surface 2 application (touch/gesture)
Last week we had the opportunity to demo our application at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond. Check out the pictures below
